Expectation Kids & Little Ones

What To Know Before You Arrive

Here’s everything you need to know about what to expect, how to check in, and how we create a safe, fun, and faith-filled space for your children.

  • Is Expectation Kids & Little Ones offered at both services?
    • During Service 1 (9:45am), we have a full Expectation Kids & Little Ones Program along with a space for Parents & Tots.
    • During Service 2 (11:15am), we offer a space for Parents & Tots - this is unsupervised so parents must stay with their little one(s).
    • We don’t have a full Expectation Kids & Little Ones Program during Service 2 at this time.
  • What ages does Expectation Kids & Little Ones cover?

Little Ones is for children ages 1–3.

Expectation Kids covers children from Preschool (ages 3) through to primary school (up to age 12/13).

    Children are grouped into three age levels with age-appropriate teaching & activities designed for each group;

    • Pre-school to Senior Infants
    • 1st to 3rd Class
    • 4th to 6th Class
  • Do I need to register my child before attending?

No advance registration is required! You can just register your child at the Registration Desk when you arrive at church.

  • Where do I check in my child?

Check-in takes place at our Expectation Kids Registration Desk outside Screens 9 & 10 (it’s to the right when you enter the foyer!)

Once you’ve signed your child in with our team, you will receive a ticket with your child’s name on it. For safeguarding, only the person holding this ticket may collect the child.

  • How long does Expectation Kids & Little Ones last?

Expectation Kids & Little Ones runs for the duration of the main worship service, typically about 1 hour 15 mins. You can register your child 10 minutes before service starts.

  • Can I stay with my child during Expectation Kids & Little Ones?

We would encourage you to ‘drop and go’ and enjoy the service. You are welcome to stay if your child needs you.

  • Are snacks provided?

At Little Ones no snack or drink are provided. Only labelled bottles of water/juice are welcome.

At Expectation Kids, a small snack and juice are provided.

  • What safety measures are in place?

The safety of your children is of the utmost importance to us. All our Expectation Kids & Little Ones team are garda-vetted and trained in child safety. Expectation Kids & Little Ones rooms are secure and parents receive a unique pickup ticket to collect their child after the service.

  • What if my child has additional needs?

We welcome children with additional needs. Our team are committed to doing our best to support every child in our care. Please reach out to our Team in advance so we can prepare for how best to support your child.
